Selling Your Home

It's important to remember that the price you get for your home and the time it takes to sell is dependent on many factors - most of which are within your control.

  1. Know when to put your home on the market. Michelle will advise you as to the best times to sell your home.
  2. Pick a local realtor that can market your home to a wide audience; someone who has the ability to get a great number of quality local and out of town prospects to see your home. Michelle Buckman is that realtor.
  3. Work with your realtor to set an appropriate price. Michelle will do a comparative analysis on home pricing, and will work with you to get top dollar for your home.
  4. Prepare your home for sale. Michelle will give you advice on which repairs are most important and will refer you to local experts who can handle those repairs.
  5. Know what's involved in showing your home well and do it. Michelle will be with your potential buyers as they walk through your home, and will accentuate the positive, diminish the negative.
  6. Be available to accept, reject, or make a counter offers. Michelle will act as your liaison and negotiate on your behalf - she will contact you as soon as possible with any offers.
